The weekend of the 9th of October I had the chance to witness a wonderful Autumn wedding with Shaun and Becky at Cave Castle. Although it was a chilly day the rain stayed away and we had the opportunity to capture some beautiful images together . Shaun and Becky were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera and were a real treasure to work with. I think that the photos say it all... what a beautiful day.

So October here we are and what a start its been. This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding for Joanna and Nigel. If I could give one word to describe this wedding it would be FUN! From the second I arrived at Joanna's mums house I felt like one of the family. As I stepped through the door I was greeted by the offer or a cuppa.. something that's is always welcomed by me followed by laughter, jokes and smiles and this is the atmosphere that seemed to run right through the day. Joanna and Nigel are known for there shared passion for vintage V Ws. The boyes arrived in the couples own orange beetle complete with matching sunglasses.

The church wedding was relaxed and beautiful. We then had a few photos at Newport church before taking the scenic drive up to Rudstone Walk. Joanna and Nigel were driven up in... of course a wonderful V W camper. This followed through to VW place cards and even tiny little VW campers and beetles on the cake. As I said one word to describe this wedding was fun... and what a fun day it was.

Thank you both for welcoming me and letting me be part of your special day.

So September has turned out to be a busy month for me indeed. I have had the chance to photograph two of the most interesting weddings the first was an Islamic wedding over in Grimsby and the second was for two of my best friends Roxy and Al in Austria. The wedding was small intimate and well I have to say perfect. It was so them through and through and to be honest one of the most loving weddings I have ever been to. Sometimes you get the opportunity to witness true love between two people and this was one of those perfect days.

For this wedding I was not working but was given the chance to sit back, relax and enjoy the day for a change as I was asked to be a bridesmaid. Although me being the passionate photographer I am and also having the chance to get a few snaps of my best friends wedding in the mountains was not an opportunity I was going to miss out on. So here is a sneek peek of Mr and Mrs Humphrey's Austrian wedding..... enjoy!
