One more day and January will be falling into February and we are a little closer to to Spring. I don't know about you but January always feels like the longest month of the year. It cold, dark and the twinkle of Christmas is long gone, but the heat of Summer still feels so far off.

So as we are into my low season my husband Adrian and I figured we would get away for a weekend and go see a little of our country. So on Friday evening we drove down to Cambridge and booked into a little B&B. Although it was freezing cold all weekend the light was wonderful and I managed to get a few snaps while discovering the wonders that this historical town has to offer.

You know those strange few days when Christmas is over but New years is still a few days away... your left wondering what to do with your self!  Well Stef and John really had no trouble at all this Christmas just gone.  They decided to celebrate the most exciting day together just at the perfect time.

I was so pleased when Stef and John asked me to photograph the big day as I have known them both since School and it was so lovely to see them tie the knot after so many years together.  Although the weather was not the warmest or the brightest we still had a wonderful day. we took most of the photos inside but managed to find 5 minutes to get out and chuck some confetti about.

Way hey its 2012! Happy New Year, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your turkey, mince pies and other festive treats.

Back in November I photographed this wonderful wedding.. it was one of those days where the light is just right. The sun was low and warm looking perfect for a little back lighting. Plus I had a very chilled out couple in Eleanor and her husband Steven. We had a little time out from the wedding party and had a play, resulting in some of the most beautiful photos.

Also another funky fact you may notice is Eleanor had her family pet Judy as a Bridesmaid. This made for some wonderful fun and quirky shots.

Enjoy!
