Last weekend I photographed the wonderful wedding of Tom and Caroline.  They choose to have there wedding at Lazaats in Cottingham.  As they got married in the afternoon I didnt arrive until after lunch but as always I had been watching the weather and hoping for the best.  We had a major down poor just before wedding and on one of the images below you will see the water streaming down the glass behind Tom.  But other then that we got away with it, in fact we got some glorious sunshine too.

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to return and shoot at one of my favourite venues Carlton Towers. I love Carlton Towers as it reminds me of something from Harry Potter.. eeek BIG FAN! Anyway the entire venue always seems to be from another world. Its full of hidden passage ways, wonderful décor, and amazing gardens.

I photographed the wedding of Clare and mark and they managed to make this venue even more exciting. Full of English summer charm with a vintage bus to bring the guests, an ice cream cart and strawberry reception.

We had amazing summers weather and took some wonderful photos to remember the day with.

Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to work with Jan and Rob at Howden minster.  This was the first time I had photographed a wedding here and what a treat.  The grounds were amazing I could have spent all afternoon wondering around finding new little nooks and cranies to shoot in but with one of my biggest weddings of the season I had to be organised.  They had over 100 guests and had figured the best way to entertain and feed them all would be with a relaxed home garden party with DJ, Magician, Working Bar and Hogg Roast. The entire day went perfectly, the sun was shinging, the children had fun and I think the grown ups had a good time too.

Last Saturday I got the chance to work at one of Hulls hidden gems.  St Columbas Church just near East Park.  I swear I have driven past it hundreds of times and just never seen it standing there.  Its a wonderful place brigh and airy with the most wonderful cottage style gardens to the side.  I really hope I get to work here again.

Anyway enough of that onto the important stuff .. the special couple.  Shannon and Craig.  After beeing together for about 7 years Craig popped the question and asked Shannon to marry him.  They chose to have the wedding at the church just down the road from there home in Hull and the reception at the Holiday Inn on Hull marina.

So on Saturday morning I woke early drew back the curtains to find.. heavy rain “aww noooo” I though.  So packed my wet gear and a few bollys to protect us and set out just hoping for the best.   Well by the time I reached St Columbas the rain had gone and to my amazement the ground was dry.  Luck was on my side again, brilliant!

Here are a few shots from Shannon and Craigs wonderful day that I so enjoyed beeing a part of.
